If you love Italian food, you’re going to adore winter at Mazzone restaurants in the Capital Region.
As part of chef Angelo’s Tour of Italy, 7 Mazzone restaurants will feature 7 Italian regions in 7 weeks, celebrating the tastes of Italy.
The menus will all include DOP (Denominazione di Origine Protetta) and IGP (Indicazione Geografica Protetta) designated foods. An IGP designation guarantees that a product originates from a specific region or country with quality, recipe, or characteristics that can be traced to its geographical origin. A DOP designation is a little more strict and guarantees that each step in the production process was carried out in the region of origin. Angelo’s Tour of Italy is being presented in partnership with the Italian Trade Commission and Italian Ministry of Agriculture.
In other words, Mazzone restaurants are truly bringing diners in the Capital Region a taste of Italy with the Angelo’s Tour of Italy menus.
Mazzone Hospitality restaurants will be featuring chef Angelo’s Tour of Italy menus on a rotating basis from January 23 through March 18. The tour schedule is below and the menu may be found on the Mazzone Hospitality site under current promotions.
According to an article in the Times Union, menus cost $30-$40 for three or four courses with wine pairings available for $20-$30. Customers who order the Tour of Italy menus at all seven of the restaurants will receive a $250 Mazzone Hospitality gift card.
